I studied Art History and later completed a contemporary circus programme in Denmark. For many years, I worked as a performer, co-creator and producer with the Slovenian street theatre company KUD Ljud, taking part in productions that toured extensively across Europe and beyond. Among them, Invasion was performed more than 300 times in over 30 countries.

Alongside performing, I have developed extensive experience in production and cultural management, collaborating with independent artists, companies, festivals and cultural organisations. My work ranges from producing international festivals and educational programmes to developing, touring and representing performances.

My collaborations include Klovnbuf – International Festival of Contemporary Clown and New Circus, Globus Hystericus, Bufeto Institute, Jurij Konjar, Tomaž Furlan, Katarina Zalar, Teater Strik, Ex-teater and Cirkokrog, among others.

Through NikaProduction, I represent and support performances I feel connected to – works that are visually strong, playful and curious, but also thoughtful and engaged, with the potential to move, inspire and communicate across languages and different audiences.
